In the past year, following the mid-term assessment in 2023, it was found that <strong>53% of commitment makers reported progress on 71% of their commitments<\/strong>, representing a significant increase of <strong>40 percentage points<\/strong> from 2022. Additionally, there were <strong>165 new commitment makers<\/strong> reporting progress for the first time, reflecting increased participation and accountability<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\">This positive trend is also reflected in the <strong>$50.3 billion budget<\/strong> that governments, private sector, and multilateral organizations have committed to promoting gender equality. Furthermore, the <strong>Women, Peace, and Security and Humanitarian Action Compact (WPS-HA Compact)<\/strong> indicates that global instability affects <strong>52% of signatories<\/strong>, requiring <strong>42%<\/strong> to accelerate measures in areas affected by conflict<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:25px\">This report emphasizes the crucial role of the <strong>Intergenerational Equality initiative<\/strong> in promoting gender equality within the framework of the <strong>2030 Sustainable Development Agenda<\/strong>, with <strong>94% of commitment makers supporting the extension of this initiative beyond 2026<\/strong>.
